What will 1,000 more students get to experience in school this next year? CUBE curricula!!! A dozen Kansas City Metro Area teachers gathered for a CUBE training in June. As the teachers experienced the CUBE curricula including “Walk Around the Block,” “BoxCity,” and “Picture This,” they were inspired and motivated to give their students the same experiences. The educators thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history and culture of the 9th Street area. They immediately found connections to their own classrooms and can’t wait to get their kids engaged in studying their own neighborhoods.
