CUBE Intern Visits Buckingham Palace
Between archiCamp, his bank job, and CUBE office administration, Craig
Kearney, the CUBE intern for 2001 and 2002, visited London, Paris and Rome
with Paul and Hallie Young. Mr. Young is the Spring Hill High School
history teacher; Hallie is an elementary school teacher.
The Youngs took around 30 kids on the non-stop trip. What impressed Craig
the most was the size of the cars. "The cars are so small. Traffic
patterns are the aspect of the trip that seemed to me to be the most
different from the United States. The roads are tight and small; the
downtowns are dense. The very small car makes sense in terms of space
available, and gas mileage."
