Construction Junction Open House
Construction Junction at Pioneer Ridge Science Center was worthwhile, fun for the participants and interesting! It is set up with various tables or booths the prticipants can choose. They are not required to go in any special order, nor are they required to go to all the booths.
Most families that came to the CUBE booth wanted to create houses. I had several samples of buildings sitting out and a poster suggesting all types of structures. Since choice ruled the activity, there was little interest in structures other than houses. Everyone that stopped created a satisfactory house with the materials we had available. Families enjoyed participating together.
