Liesa Schroeder

Liesa Schroeder is an art and gifted teacher for the Independence School
district. She is also a free lance writer for School Arts and Arts and
Activities magazines. Her work with students has received her the A+
Educator Award from CUBE and the Greater Kansas City chapter of the American
Institute of Architects. She was selected as a "Best Practice" by the
Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in 2002. She has
received many local, state and national grants for her built environment
work with students and was recently inducted in the Excellence in Teaching
Cabinet by Curriculum Associates, Inc. Liesa, as a member of the CUBE
Cadre, presents CUBE workshops regionally.
